"Duck Dynasty" starlet Sadie Robertson recently modeled down the catwalk in the Sherri Hill fashion show during New York Fashion Week-and didn't hesitate to give God all the glory for the experience.
"So extremely blessed to be a Sherri Hill model & get to walk in New York fashion week. Praising God for all the many opportunities. ALL glory to God. Walking for him!" the 17 year old budding designer wrote on her Instagram page just before her debut.
Sadie, who famously made it to the finals on the most recent season of Dancing With the Stars, first modeled a cocktail dress with blue beading, which she revealed to fans in a separate Instagram post along with the caption, "Work it girlll."
The young model, who's also a spokeswoman for the dress brand, then shared a photo of herself in a stunning ocean-blue ball gown with a scoop neckline and an embellished waistline.
"Sherri Hill, you are amazing!" she captioned the photo.
The gowns in the collection, which are suitable for prom and other formal events, are not only gorgeous, but also modest, as a reflection of Sadie's Christian values. In "Duck Dynasty" Season 3 "Duck Be a Lady" episode, Willie Robertson, Sadie's father, stressed the importance of modesty, even for formal wear - "We need full coverage," he said. In response, Sadie later took it upon herself to make a "Daddy-Approved" line of prom dresses with Sherri Hill-and the rest is history.
However, Sadie's experience at New York Fashion Week last year wasn't quite as positive. In an excerpt from her recently-released book, "Live Original: How the Duck Commander Teen Keeps It Real and Stays True to Her Values," the "Duck" star revealed the harsh treatment she received from many of the models.
"Many of them did not say a single word back to me," she wrote about when she first arrived backstage at the tents and greeted the models with "Hey y'all!" according to Fox News.
"They just looked at me like they had icicles in their eyes," she added.
The "uncomfortable" situation left her feeling awkward and unwelcomed.
"(They) were from places like Russia and other European countries," the Louisiana teen wrote, "They were pretty obsessed with their weight, so instead of having snacks or treats, they smoked cigarettes and drank coffee. She recalled. "They were quiet, and they seemed either sad or kind of angry."

However, the young model was able to rely on her own confidence, which she says comes from her strong faith.
"They cared way too much about their outward appearance," she wrote. "Confidence is an inside thing. I could have totally lost it over the comments people made and the icy looks they gave me, but I didn't. God has been training me all my life... to be strong and confident."
