Soon-to-be-parents Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard of 19 Kids & Counting shared details about their pregnancy and enjoyed some fun activities during a trip to New York as Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald revealed their wedding announcement.
This week, the Dillards spent some time in New York doing media ahead of their wedding airing on TLC. During several interviews, the couple shared a few tidbits about their pregnancy.
Jill said she hopes that their baby boy will be just like his dad, a man she says is "a man of character" and "a gentle giant." Derick says he hopes their baby is as compassionate, sweet and tender-hearted as Jill is.
The second-oldest Duggar daughter also said that she became discouraged early in her pregnancy because she couldn't do much due to the nausea. However, she said that Derick supported and encouraged her the entire time. Jill also revealed that TLC is currently filming more 19 Kids & Counting--and viewers can be sure to get complete coverage of the pregnancy.
However, the couple's trip to New York wasn't all about business, as they shared several photos of themselves enjoying fun activities while exploring the city.
While giving an interview at NBC studios, the couple met and took a picture with Monica Potter of Parenthood. "She is so sweet!" Jill wrote under an Instagram photo of the three.
Later on the trip, Derick shared a photo of their "date night" where the Dillards took in "Cinderella" on Broadway. "Love my wife!" Derick wrote.
The couple also showed fans some of what they had for dinner during their last night of the trip, visiting the Himalayan Yak restaurant in Queens for some Tibetan and Nepali food.
Meanwhile, sister Jessa Duggar and fiance Ben Seewald, who got engaged in August, shared their wedding announcement on the TLC website.
The invitation is set on top of a sweet photo of the couple and reveals that they will be getting married on Saturday, Nov. 1 at their church in Arkansas.
In addition to sending out invitations, Jessa and her future husband, who "can't wait to get married," have already completed their registry. The couple's list includes everything from a night-light shaped like an owl to an Apple MacBook Air computer.
"We have most of our planning done," Seewald recently told People. "When you're planning a wedding, you can make it complicated or make it simple, and we are trying to make ours simple. There are some things that have to be done right before the wedding, but for the most part, we're ready."
