The Duggar family of the hit TLC show "19 Kids and Counting" has never shied away from sharing their faith onscreen; the family is often seen praying together and attending church services. However, a new video released by Living Waters will give viewers an inside look at the Duggar's passion for their faith as they share their beliefs with others.
Ray Comfort, Executive Producer of "19 Kids and Preaching," says, "If you follow the famous family, you've no doubt enjoyed watching them throughout their many adventures. From shopping and preparing meals, to traveling and skydiving, with a family of 19 kids it's always life at the extremes. But you've never seen them do anything as exciting or controversial as open-air preaching."
In the film, Comfort shows the family how to confidently share the gospel to others in a public forum. Duggar patriarch Jim Bob and wife Michelle testify to their Christian faith in the open air at a local university.
"God's word is the truth and it's for life and when we have a question we go to the word of God and search through the scriptures to find answers to our questions," explained Michelle.
"As a believer, it isn't a cakewalk.. we are in a battle.. and it's in our mind.. it starts right there."
Meanwhile, eldest son Joshua Duggar, who is the executive director of FRC Action, the political arm of the Family Research Council, is shown preaching outside the White House.
According to the 26-year-old father of three, his parents raised him and his siblings to see the importance of sharing their faith with the outside world.
"I think from an early age my parents really instilled in us the importance of, not only being involved in politics but really being active in your community and realizing that life is made up of a lot more than just you," Duggar said.
"We look at our opportunities to share on television as a ministry to reach into the hearts of viewers and share through our life the hope that we have found in Jesus Christ!" he added.
"19 Kids and Preaching" will be available for download on Sept. 9 and the DVD will be released on Oct. 10.
