Australian Christian evangelist and motivational speaker, Nick Vujicic, born with tetra-amelia syndrome, a rare disorder characterised by the absence of all four limbs, revisted Taiwan recently for his mission tour after 2 years. The evangelical event 'Fulfilling Life' held at the KaoHsiung Chong Cheng Stadium moved the crowd of 30,000 and converted 3,000 to Christ.
Nick is well-known in Taiwan and though the sun was scorching on the day of the KaoHsiung event, many were eagerly waiting for his message by arriving well before the event start.
When Nick arrived, he introduced and greeted everyone in Chinese and received heartwarming response from the crowd. He shared how he rely on his Faith in Jesus Christ to turn what could be a 'depressing life' to a 'fulfilling life' journey and the incredible way he met and dated his wife.
Nick expressed that though his limbs were absent, But God does not have a limit for his life. Despite the kind of difficulties faced, he is always empowered and God has helped him enjoy a life full of joy and peace. It also uplifted people with broken heart face life with positive attitude.
The crowd in KaoHsiung touched Nick with their warmth. The limbless warrior posted on FaceBook the prayer that more than 3,000 converted read and confirmed with countless many to sustain that living relationship with Jesus.
Nick was thankful that this big and wonderful KaoHsiung evangelical event marked a nice ending to his mission this year, it also was a remarkable memory for him.
In addition to the event in KaoHsiung, Nick is also hosting his new book publishing event in Taipei with demonstration of his superb swimming skills. He received many positive feedback from other speaking engagements.
