Are You Humble and Thankful?
Nebuchadnezzar went from the palace to the pasture soon after arrogantly proclaiming, “Is not this the great Babylon I have built as the royal residence, by my mighty power and for the glory of my majesty?” (v. 30). These were the arrogant words that came from his lips moments before God’s judgment fell on him. This mighty king was driven from society and ate grass like the cattle. He had ignored God’s warning through Daniel. Only when he humbled himself was he restored.
