Pastor Tong Liu (刘彤) shared his reflection on attending the 70th anniversary celebration of the Bread of Life Christian Church in Taipei (台北灵粮堂, BOLCC Taipei). He pointed out that it is important to present the congregation with a big picture of the economic and religious development in the world and in China and to encourage the believers to participate in missions to the best of their ability.

In Pastor Tong Liu's recent sharing, he put a special focus on church planting as the best strategy for evangelism. In recent years, the River of Life Christian Church (ROLCC) has increasingly found church planting to be the most effective way when it comes to evangelism.

On October 6, during the Sunday service at the River of Life Christian Church (生命河灵粮堂, ROLCC), Pastor Tong Liu shared the church's latest missions map, emphasizing their extensive outreach in global missions and calling on believers to continue to engage and support this important commission.

The Fourth Lausanne Congress on World Evangelization concluded on September 26, after seven days of gathering. More than 5,200 participants from 202 countries signed the Collaborative Action Commitment to accelerate the gospel commission through global collaboration, once again emphasizing that unity is the key to spread the gospel to the ends of the earth.

To help people find encouragement and hope in the ever-complicated times, a special event called “Finding Hope in a Troubled Word” will be held in Redwood City, California, on Sunday, October 6, from 3:00 PM. to 5:00 PM (Pacific Time). Sponsored by the Tien Dao Evangelistic Center in North America, the event is designed to communicate hope in the Christian faith through music, testimonies, and messages.

The Seoul Statement, the fourth document in the 50-year history of the Lausanne Movement, was released prior to the opening of the Fourth Lausanne Congress on World Evangelization in Incheon, Seoul. The Seoul Statement emphasizes the responsibility of Christians in global evangelization and calls on churches and believers to respond actively to modern global challenges.
