America's duck-hunting, God-loving Robertsons' family from Louisiana, bring another TV season of allowing viewers to step into their world, but 'Duck Dynasty' preview clips include a whip and allude to this series being "not all fun and games." What surprises are coming? Season 9 premieres on Wednesday, Jan. 13, on A&E at 8 p.m. CST. The prior 87 episodes now are available for viewing as well.
The Robertsons own and operate Duck Commanders, a business that specializes in fabricating duck calls and decoys out of salvaged swamp wood. The business grew from a mom-and-pop operation started in 1973 to a multimillionaire sporting empire.
The family patriarch is Phil Roberston, while his son, Willie, now operates it and narrates the show.
According to A&E, the new, ninth season, which is entitled "Inlawful Entry," will feature a visit from Missy's parents. Her father convinces Jase to take him on a quail hunt. But while their "bonding hunt" yields very few quail, it does bring them closer together as friends. Meanwhile, Willie helps John Luke start his own snow cone business, but to make a profit, they'll have to overcome some growing pains.
Fan Billy Lewis stated on the Duck Dynasty Facebook page that he's counting down the days to the premiere and can't hardly wait! "Even though I'm blind, I still like hearing Duck Dynasty and really enjoy all the Robertsons and their Christian values!"
Peggy Dawson said she wishes the show was on every Wednesday night. "I love the way they (the Robertsons) pray after each show and before they eat. I love that they are Christians. I am, too."

Duck Dynasty fan Stephen Armstrong posted the following on the show's Facebook fan page on Monday: "Just want to say thank you for what y'all do. Me and my team are currently deployed to Iraq and have a few amenities. One is a TV and DVD player. We've watched seasons 1-8 of Duck Dynasty probably 20 times throughout the last 6-7 months here during our free time. It's a nice reminder of home and what's waiting for us when we get back stateside."
