The battle lines have been drawn.

Captain Steve Rogers a.k.a. Captain America is teaming up with Bucky Barnes (Winter Soldier), Sam Wilson (Falcon), Hawkeye (Clint Barton), Ant-Man (Scott Lang), and Sharon Carter (Agent 13) on one side.

Iron Man a.k.a. Tony Stark's team will have War Machine (Col. James Rhodes), Black Widow (Natasha Romanoff), Black Panther (T'Challa), Vision and possibly Spider-Man (Peter Parker) on the other.

The Scarlet Witch (Wanda Maximoff), will reportedly be fighting as well, although at this time, her allegiance is still in question as she might play a wild card in the third installment of Marvel's Captain America franchise, Captain America: Civil War.

With that, Marvel Studios have revealed the two dividing teams who will fight against each other in Captain America: Civil War, Moviepilot reported.

The revelation came following a 15-minute screening for a theater staff by Marvel studios for the Marvel Cinematic Universe and at the same time unveil the costumes to be used by Spider-man that will now have the famous red spider symbol on its back. The symbol first appeared in the 1962 design and The Ultimate Spider-Man Animated Cartoon.

In a report, Heroic Hollywood said that Peter Parker has been playing his alter-ego Spider-Man prior to the Civil War. Captain America: Civil War is set when Peter Parker was still a 15-year-old high school student.

Tom Holland will make his debut as Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Reports have also been circulating that Peter Parker will be using two costumes in Captain America: Civil War, as he changes into Spider-Man. Another costume Parker will be using is reported to be a home-made version of the Spider suit.

The exact design will be revealed when Captain America: Civil War arrives in theaters May 6, 2016.

Scarlet Witch to Play as Wild Card in Captain America: Civil War

In a recent interview with Comic Book, Elizabeth Olsen who plays the role as Scarlet Witch disclosed that she will play as a wild card in the movie whose allegiance is still undetermined. "I have a movement coach for the way she throws her hexes so I'm very protective over that," Olsen said. "It's something that was created out of whatever uniquely that we made up for the first film. Now we have this huge attachment to it and we don't want to see it messed up."

She added that Scarlet Witch is "coming into her own and starting to understand and have a conflict with how she wants to use her abilities. It's a dramatic conflict within her and obviously there's conflict within the (Avengers) as well."

"I like that they didn't release Scarlet Witch in the promo photos for the teams - it places her as being a wild card, and I like her having that kind of edge that people don't know what she's capable of. They can fear her because she is so incredibly powerful in a different way than the rest of the heroes for the most part. I like playing that role within the gang."

Captain America: Civil War picks up where Avengers: Age of Ultron left off, as Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. However, an international incident involving the Avengers resulted in collateral damage and political pressure mounts for accountability for the Avengers team. Captain America and Iron Man have clashing views on this issue thus dividing the team's loyalty.
