The gaming community is at a frenzy as rumors are circulating that No Man's Sky, the biggest video game title to be ever released in terms of its sheer size, is mere hours of its official release, various sources claim. No Man's Sky features 18,446,744,073,709,551,616 planets that if you visit each one for a single second, it will take you 585 billion years to see them all.
What's more, the PlayStation-exclusive game No Man's Sky is also speculated to be available on Xbox One when it finally arrives. Earlier, Hello Games and Sean Murray confirmed that the much-anticipated game if the year will be available on on PC after it's arrival on PS4, moreover on VR headsets like Project Morpheus and the Oculus Rift.
CBS Entertainment and a curious poll posted on GameFAQs hinted that a release for space exploration adventure is imminent.
Last week, CBS printed a press release that Murray will have some important announcement when he appears on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert on Friday (Oct. 2). CBS, which airs The Late Night Show, has confirmed that Hello Games founder Murray would be guesting on the show and probably give a demo of the massive and the biggest title to grace the gaming community.
Meanwhile, Murray will be giving a 90-minute exclusive preview and present more details about the much-anticipated video game at the World Trade Center in New York on Oct. 3.
Hello Games devoted a special event page for the Oct. 3 event dubbed 'Blast Off' at the New Yorker about the space exploration game. Hello Games are keeping the development of No Man's Sky under wraps and were mum on the its status.
Murray assured fans that their "historically quiet" coders are trying to provide a perfect game and want a very polished product once No Man's Sky is officially released. However, the sudden "commotion" within the developers is being interpreted by industry observers as a sign that the game is ready to be unveiled and that the public demo on Saturday is the best indication.
A separate report by Game Rant quoted Chris Charla (Xbox Director) as providing inside information that No Man's Sky will be released on Xbox One. The report stated that Charla has recently said the he "would love to see" No Man's Sky on the Xbox One. Charla was speaking on The Inner Circle podcast, and revealed that a workaround for the launch parity clause could be found if Hello Games wanted to discuss a Xbox One release.
Movie Pilot also suggested that one major reason for the delays in the release of the game is because Sony wants to release No Man's Sky alongside their upcoming VR headgear, the Project Morpheus. While this is a very tantalizing prospect, it would mean that fans of No Man's Sky would have to wait longer before they can start discovering planets at the comfort of their homes.
