The Late Night Show host Stephen Colbert has beaten all No Man's Sky fans to the draw as he will have the first chance to play the much-anticipated game on Friday, October 2. CBS, which airs The Late Night Show, has confirmed that Hello Games founder Sean Murray would be guesting on the show and probably give a demo of the massive and the biggest title to grace the gaming community, reported Game Zone.
Of course, Murray will be discussing the on-going developments of No Man's Sky. After the interview, the game developer is said to showcase the indie-studio's massive open-world game, according to the press release provided by CBS.
As of this writing, Murray has been silent on the official release date of No Man's Sky, the largest video game to be produced with 18,446,744,073,709,551,616 planets in the universe that if you visit each one for a single second, it will take you 585 billion years to see them all.
However, the game's development has already captured the attention of the gaming fans and it is already one of the most highly-anticipated titles. The delay in its release is because Murray said he wanted to provide the public with a game with less issue as possible and not short-change the buyers of the title.
Despite the challenges of having a small team, No Man's Sky has quickly become one of the industry's most anticipated games. The same ambition driving the team, however, is also part of the reason the game still doesn't have a firm release date.
Murray was quoted as saying, "I guess there's two things, when the release date is, but also when we announce that date. We can't announce the date right now, because of things that are not entirely in our control, but honestly for good reasons. It'll be announced as soon as we can."

Hello Games devoted a special event page for the Oct. 3 event dubbed 'Blast Off' at the New Yorker about the space exploration game.
New Yorker writer Raffi Khatchadourian will have a one-on-one interview with Sean Murray to discuss details on the development of No Man's Sky and hopefully more information about its launch date or even a hint when players could actually play the indie title.
In May, Khatchadourian also conducted a one-on-one interview with Murray to talk about No Man's Sky which is set to be released exclusively for PlayStation 4 (PS4). Fans who want to watch Murray's 90-minute presentation can buy tickets for the event costing $45, reported VC Post.
