Justin Bieber is definitely trying his best to turn his life around and completely forget about his troubled past.
On Thursday, the 21-year-old pop prince from Canada posted on his Instragram an image explaining to his over 32 million followers he would not have learned some of the most important lessons in life without living them.
Bieber posted on his Instagram an image which reads, "There are some things you can only learn in the valley and not on the mountain top."
He also told his millions of fans that his renewed spiritual journey is a continuing process and assured them that he would remain on his path of correctness to improve himself. Bieber captioned the image, "Sometimes we feel like why am in this place right now why am I not where I wanna be? There are lessons you can learn on the journey that you can't get when you are at your destination. THE BEST IS YET TO COME!"
Bieber made those comments following his trip in Sydney, Australia to attend the Hillsong Sydney Conference led by Hillsong NYC church founder Pastor Carl Lentz with Pastor Joel Houston. Houston is also is a musician and heads the church's youth band called Hillsong United.
Bieber was baptized by New York-based Pentecostal church Pastor Lentz last year and has since turned to the Lord after drawing heavy flak over his racist videos. The Canadian pop star is reported to be attending regular church services and studying Bible passages as part of his religious resurgence.
As a member of the Hillsong Church, Bieber regularly attends its services in Los Angeles and New York. During his five-day stay in Australia, the heartthrob attended the twice-daily worship services of Hillsong at Sydney's Allphones Arena, where the conference was also held, reported Inquisitr.
Justin arrived in Australia on June 29 accompanied by Hailey Baldwin, the 18-year-old daughter of outspoken born-again Christian and actor Stephen Baldwin. Hailey is also being romantically-linked with Bieber since the singer has already broken up with on-and-off girlfriend Selena Gomez.
Bieber, who had several run ins with the law last year, lately has been very vocal about his spiritual journey and even shared his transformation on his social media networks with his millions of followers and supporters.
Before flying to Sydney for the Hillsong conference, Bieber shared a photo on his Instagram account (@justinbieber) telling his fans about his new found relationship with God which he described as the "coolest thing" he has ever experienced. He also shared a Bible passage from the book of Psalm 43 which says, "Vindicate me, my God, and plead my cause against an unfaithful nation. Rescue me from those who are deceitful and wicked."
In an interview with Ten Network Television on the sideline of the Hillsong conference, Bieber thanked Pastor Lentz for changing his life. "I'm glad to know him. He's changed my life," he said.
However, Lentz and Houston told Channel Seven's The Morning Show that Bieber's spiritual rejuvenation was because of his own choice and he was the one who is charting his destiny.
Lentz said, "We didn't change Justin Bieber. We just gave a hand in being a friend to him. He's made his own decisions."
He continued, "We invited him like we invited a lot of people. He said he wanted to come so he kind of cancelled other plans to come do this and I think that's pretty awesome."
