UConn, Kentucky and Florida have combined to win five of the last 10 national championships, while Wisconsin has reached the tournament in each of coach Bo Ryan's 13 seasons, the second-longest tournament streak in the robust Big Ten.

For the first time in the 76-year history of the NCAA tournament, the Final Four games will be televised on a cable network. NCAA has announced for that television rights holder CBS and its cable partner, Turner Sports, will provide for the first-time "team-specific broadcasts" of Saturday's 'Final Four' games

CBS and Turner Sports are experimenting with airing two additional telecasts of both NCAA semifinals. Along with the main coverage on TBS, there will be separate versions on TNT and truTV with different announcing crews tailored for each team.

For the early game, the Florida broadcast will be on TNT and UConn's on truTV. David Steele, who has previously hosted Florida basketball and football television and radio coverage and is the current voice of the Orlando Magic, will provide play-by-play for the TNT telecast. On the other hand, Eric Frede, a Connecticut native who covered the UConn men's program this year as a studio host for CSN New England, will call the action on truTV.

Following the first game, Kentucky teamcast will be on TNT and Wisconsin on truTV for the second semifinal. Rob Bromley, a long-time Kentucky sports anchor who has handled play-by-play, sideline and color commentary for basketball and football on UKTV for more than 30 years, will team with former Kentucky star Rex Chapman as the analyst. On the other hand, Wayne Larrivee, who has called Wisconsin games on the Big Ten Network this season, will provide play-by-play commentary.

The National Championship will take place on Monday, April 7 on CBS.
