In parallel with the Stream of Praise (SOP) conference, the Kids GLOW Camp was held to nurture the new generation of worship.
Some 30 children were gathered for the three-day spiritual training camp "GLOW," which means "God Leads Our Way." The camp aims to educate the children about Jesus Christ so that they can experience the love of God. Through prayer and Bible studies, the young children can also be touched by the Holy Spirit.
Over the last three days, the children have studied some Bible stories in interactive ways such as drama performance and puppet shows. Under the guidance of SOP ministers, they learn about salvation, amour of God and fruits of the Spirit through simple activities. Every evening, the children also had classes teaching them about basic music theory and skills.
On the last day of the camp on Sunday, one of the main speakers of the SOP International Leadership and Worship Conference- the Canadian evangelist Rev Charlie Robinson, joined the kids in the late afternoon. He gave blessings and prayers to each single child.
According to the message Robinson gave on the last evening’s event of the SOP International Leadership and Worship Conference, he said, "God uses our youth, if we put our trust in young people like God does, we will be surprise at what God will ask them to do."
Robinson has highlighted the need to care the young people with actions.
Yesterday afternoon, SOP ministers have taught the children in the camp the method of praying to the Heavenly Father. Many of them offered their prayer to God with a pure heart of worship and praise.
