Around 1,000 Chinese Christians from all over the world gathers in Los Angeles today for the annual leadership conference of a leading music ministry.

After the year-long period of preparation, the Stream of Praise International Leadership & Worship Conference will kick-off Friday at Costa Mesa Hilton Hotel near to Los Angeles.

The theme of the Conference "GLOW" does not only mean "bright and shining" in English, but also can it be interpreted as "God Leads Our Way."

According to the Stream of Praise, most of the participants are coming from Los Angeles, but there are also many coming from Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Canada and others. Many participants have already been involving in the worship team of their churches, yet they are to be further equipped as a mature spiritual leader.

The conference aims to send revival among the Chinese Christians from all around the world. More importantly, it offers training to encourage a new generation of leaders to develop the characteristics of a spiritual leader, worshipping in spirit and truth, and raising up more worship leaders and teams.

The gathering today will begin with worship and praise in the morning immediately after the registration, followed by the message shared by Rev. Charlie Robinson, who is from the Fresh Fire Ministries and ministers regularly with Todd Bentley.

Participants will enter a series of training classes starting from today's afternoon. Robinson is expected to lead the class on "Strategic Leadership." Some more technical classes such as Basic Cinematography, Church Sound, Vocal and Keyboard will be hosted as well.

Rev Sandy Yu, President of Stream of Praise Music Ministries/Producer; Pastor Dennis Chou, Pastoral care of Stream of Praise Music Ministries and Bezeleel Lau, Professional Producer/Sound Engineer of Dream Works International Dubbing Supervisor will be hosting the classes to share their professional experience with the young leaders.

The climax of the conference will be the countdown worship celebration in the evening of Dec. 31. The conference will be closed on Sunday, Jan. 1.

Stream of Praise Ministry is founded in 1993 when it started leading Christian worship in Los Angeles areas. Three years later, it published the first praise and worship album entitled "Let Praise Arise" and went on the first Taiwan Tour. Since then, it has been growing internationally and become a leading Chinese Christian music ministry.
