Gospel Operation is holding their 10th Anniversary Celebration Dinners at each of their branch regions around the world beginning from Sept 2, and the last location for celebration will be at United States headquarter in San Francisco at Nov 13, 2005.
On Sept 9, missionaries gathered in Hong Kong for the celebration dinner. GO international general director, Rev. Cyrus Lam and US headquarter associated director, Dr. John Chang delivered sermons on subjects relating the emergence of Chinese missions.
Lam concluded saying, "Under the influence of globalization towards faith, not only should we achieve the Great Commission that the Lord has given us, but we also need to prepare to face the conflicts."
Gospel Operation started in 1995, where a group of pastors, Mark K. Cheng, Joseph Wong, Margaret Wong, Cyrus Lam, Pearl Lam, Stephen Ho, Jenny Ho, and Betty Chou decided to preach the gospel to the un-reached people groups of the world, both Chinese and non-Chinese.
