On Saturday afternoon, around 150 Chinese Pastors, church leaders and members gathered at the US Tennis Association (USTA) National Tennis Center in Flushing, NY for a rehearsal preparing for the Billy Graham Crusade event which expects around 30,000 participants from all over New York and other states.

Liaisons and Chairs for the Chinese portion of the crusade are Rev. Isaiah Tingson (Chair), and Pastors Tom Hui and Peter Ong.

Accompanied with the Chinese counselors are about 1,000 other chairing Pastors, counselors and translators of different language backrounds Arabic, Japanese, Spanish, Armenian, Korean, Taiwanese, Cantonese, Mandarin, Tamil, Haitian, Polish, Thai, Hindi, Portuguese, Urdu, Hungarian, Punjabi, Vietnamese, Indonesian, and Russian.

All the administration and staff organize technical issues within the crusade on a non-stop basis, from making a good service system of translations for all foreign speakers to guiding counselors on how to invite new people of faith to Christ.

Above all else, staff insisted on the need of prayer for the crusade:

- That the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ would be lifted up in every corner of this great city and beyond.

- That God would continue to bless preparations for the Crusade—including spiritual, technical, and financial considerations.

- That Christians in the Tri-State area and southern New England would unite to inform their communities about the Crusade.

- That thousands would come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior as a result of Billy Graham’s messages, June 24–26.
