This year, the Chinese Family For Christ (CFFC) is planning to expand their network to the fifty states of United States. In a brief interview with the Gospel Post reporter, Steve Loh, director of CFFC USA, shared the vision and hope of CFFC.
"Our goal for this year is to build firm network in each state of America. We will contact local churches and organizations one by one, especially in the largest states and cities." said Loh.
This vision is greatly inspirited by the abundant grace and great change people received in each Marriage Enrichment Retreat. CFFC hold more than 100 Marriage Enrichment Retreat every year in all over the world, which has already been widely testified by thousands of Christian couples as a vital turning point of their problems in marriage.
"We can see how much the retreats helped those Chinese couples," said Loh with much feeling. "Seeing all those tears and touching scenes, you can testify the faithfulness of God."
Loh expressed these words because he saw how the Chinese families are inhibited to express their love in a lively way as a result of strict rules of tradition. Furthermore, they face the problem that occurs with the mixture of marriages values mixing with societal ethics, which continuously brings impact to their family life. Yet, these problems only show the sins that are deeply rooted in mankind.
Through the Marriage Enrichment Retreats and cooperation with psychologists, CFFC strives to convey the correct marriage concepts and values, and that is marriage consists of one man and one woman, and lasts for all one's life.
Last year, CFFC held more than 150 Marriage Enrichment Retreats in the United States, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Mainland China, where more than 1,500 couples participated. Their ministry in the United States has also reached Seattle, Boston, Chicago, Iowa, Houston, and San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego. "I believe we can find collaborators in each state, as we are earnestly praying to God," Loh said.
