Kay Aruthur, together with her husband established Precept Ministries International 31 years ago, initially as a teen ministry. Today it's in 118 countries in over 63 languages. The purpose of the ministry is to establish people in God's Word through the Inductive Bible Study Method, so that they can discover the Bible's truths for themselves. Through her ministry, Kay Arthur has touched thousands of lives, challenging people to change and equipping them to be used for the kingdom of God as an inspiring Bible teacher and conference speaker.
Kay has authored over 100 books and Bible studies, with four Gold Medallion awards and over five million copies in print. The variety of studies reaches all ages, from young children to adults.
Precept Ministries describes that her authority comes from the Word of God, which she continues to study zealously; her compassion stems from a life that has been touched by deep tragedy as well as great triumph; and her practicality springs from an openness of character.
Kay has been also impacted many people through her daily radio program, two television programs, and one-minute devotional spots that air regularly on over 850 stations.
