President Trump nominates Judge Neil Gorsuch for Supreme Court

President Trump announced federal Judge Neil Gorsuch as his choice for the Supreme Court on Tuesday night at the White House. Gorsuch, 49, serves on the 10th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Denver and if he is confirmed, he would fill the seat that has been vacant since the death of Justice Antonin Scalia. Gorsuch holds similar views as Scalia did As many Democrats are still angry over Republicans’ refusal to consider Barack Obama’s nominee, Merrick Garland, there is sure to be a fight over approving Donald Trump's pick.
