Thousands of Christians on Thursday took out agitational rallies in Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Layyah, Khushpur and other Christian population areas to protest the brutal assassination of Federal Minister for Minority Affairs Shahbaz Bhatti in Islamabad.

According to reports, the assassins threw pamphlets before fleeing the scene, the pamphlets stated, that whoever will speak against the Blasphemy law will face the same fate.The Tehrik-i-Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack on the minister in the pamphlet.
