Rumors about LG V30's release are now heating up. LG is reportedly going to launch the next-generation mobile phone early to get a head start against Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Now, here's latest round-up of update about LG V30 release date, specs, and rumors.
One of the best strategies to sell a device is to launch it early before the competitors. LG is reportedly rushing the production of V30 to launch it earlier than the scheduled release. Industry insiders claim the smartphone to break cover in August, a month earlier than the V20, according to SlashGear.
Samsung is expecting to launch its Galaxy Note 8 in September 2017. For the part of LG, they are allegedly planning to have a head start in tech market by introducing a device a month before Galaxy Note 8's release.
Samsung proved the strategy best when it launched the Galaxy S7 last year earlier than usual to beat the iPhone 7. The South Korean phone maker was able to sell more than 300,000 units of Galaxy S7 in just two days.
For the features of LG V30, it will be packed with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 processor and 4 GB of random-access memory (RAM). It will also have 32 GB and 64 GB internal storage options, which can be upgraded via microSD slot.
Furthermore, the phone will be equipped with a 3,300 mAh battery similar to the current LG G6. However, the device's battery could be non-removable.
The camera is one of the most important parts of a mobile phone, so LG is expected to bump up the camera specs of LG V30. Its primary camera will have dual 13-MP sensors with dual-LED flash and image stabilizer. For selfies, its front camera will be equipped with an 8-MP sensor.
The LG V30 will also have an OLED screen, which is a first for the company since the LG G Flex 2. The phone could also break new ground as the pioneer of mobile phones with a flexible display, as per report from GSMArena.
Just like the LG V20, LG V30 will also have a taste of new Android mobile operating system. V30 is expected to run on Android O right out the box. Android O is Google's upcoming operating system and successor of the current Android Nougat.
With that being said, let's wait for more update from LG about the full features of V30. Stick with us for more tech news.
