LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers made an incredible comeback to win against Golden State Warriors in Game 4 of 2017 NBA Finals. James led the way and smashed two NBA records, surpassing all-time greats Michael Jordan and Magic Johnson. In a postgame interview, Lebron thanked God for his fruitful NBA career.
LeBron finished with a triple-double of 31 points, 11 assists, and ten rebounds. His ninth Finals triple-double broke the all-time record, which previously held by Los Angeles Lakers Legend Magic Johnson. Johnson congratulated the Cavaliers forward and called him "the King of Triple Doubles for the NBA Finals."
Furthermore, James surpassed Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan as the No. 1 all-time playoff scorer. The Cavaliers forward is now holding the record with 6,091 playoff points, beating Jordan's 5,987 playoff points.
In a postgame interview two years ago, James thanked God for his basketball skills that broke many records in the NBA. He did not credit his training or basketball coaches for his innate qualities to success. Rather, he praised God for granting him the abilities needed for the game."The grace of God above; He gave me this athleticism," James told the interviewer.

The Cleveland Cavaliers as a team also made a record-breaking 49 points in the first quarter of the game. The team continued to dominate the first half with 89 points in total. The previous record was 79 first half points by the 1985 Boston Celtics.
With a 137-116 victory over the Warriors last Friday, James and the Cavaliers have to overcome a 3-1 deficit to win the 2017 NBA Finals trophy. The series goes back to Oakland for Game 5 on Monday, June 12, 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
The Cavaliers have a big obstacle to overcome. However, James has a positive attitude to get over any hurdle. In an interview with ABC's Doris Burke two years ago, the 2016 Finals MVP said "I don't know why the Man above gives me the hardest road, but ... the Man above don't put you in situations that you can't handle. And I just kept that same positive attitude."
LeBron James is quiet about his faith and religion, but he trusts God to overcome difficulties. For those who can't remember, he carried the Cavaliers last year to win the 2016 NBA Finals Championship despite being down 3-1 in the series.
The 6′ 8″ Cavaliers forward is also considered as one of the best players in NBA history. He is one of the only two players that has a career average of 25 points, six rebounds, and six assists. Also, he is one of the five players that have at least four NBA MVP awards. Moreover, as we already know, he is the only player in modern NBA history to play in seven consecutive NBA finals.
It may be an impossible feat to win an NBA Championship with a 3-1 record, but with God on his side, LeBron James will indeed achieve more in the NBA.
