Season 7 of "Game of Thrones" was confirmed shortened to only six episodes or three weeks of airing on HBO this coming July, meaning there will be fewer broadcast hours compared to the 10-episode runs of the last six seasons. However, GoT fans are in for bigger scenes never seen before that likely will include game-changing deaths, for instance of the Daenerys Dragons.

In a report, Entertainment Weekly said Game of Thrones main characters have confirmed of increased screen times for GoT Season 7. Viewers will get to see more of Daenerys Targaryen and Tyrion Lannister on the screen as the actors playing the characters told EW they logged in more working hours than ever despite the HBO fantasy series shorter for its 2017 run.

Emilia Clarke (Daenerys), according to EW, has hinted her GoT Season 7 stint required more dialogue lines to learn. "We're actually filming longer now. I don't know how that's happening," Clarke told the publication.

And the same goes for Peter Dinklage who portrays the beloved Tyrion. He confirmed that Season 7 proved longer than the past seasons. "I've worked more days this season than I have in quite some time," Dinklage said.

But the statements seem puzzling as it is no secret Game of Thrones showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss have opted for an abridged 2017 run for the show. The two, however, said there is no mystery at all. Going to the last two seasons, Game of Thrones now consist of fewer characters and it follows that these main players were given better story treatment that translated to longer screen exposure.

Naturally, Daenerys and Tyrion will be seen more often throughout the whole Season 7, and indeed they worked longer than usual. And that's because many characters have been killed in the past. "You kill a couple dozen characters, the people who are left by default need to carry more dramatic weight," the HBO showrunners said.

"Everyone gets a bigger slice of the pie ... "As the worlds start to converge the characters who haven't met each other before start to meet each other and there are more main characters together in each other's storylines than ever before," Weiss explained.

In the process and unsurprisingly, the GoT showrunners tipped of bigger scenes to come, and a lot.

And one compelling scene to anticipate involves the formidable Dragons that fight under the House Targaryen. In her quest to reclaim the Iron Throne Daenerys has under her employ three fire-belching dragons, and according to Mashable these beasts could be in harm's way in Season 7.

The man that has the capability to combat and slay the Daenerys Dragons was identified by the publication as Euron Greyjoy. Euron has under his disposal a formidable armada of ship and supposedly a magical Dragon Horn with "the ability to control any dragon that hears it, binding them to the horn's master."

With the weapons, Euron can attack Daenerys, purportedly for rejecting his marriage proposal and because the latter had decided to align with his enemies - Theon and Yara Greyjoy.

Game of Thrones Season 7 will start airing on HBO July 16.
