A report from Wall Street Journal claims the Zelda mobile game might become available in the last part of 2017 or in the first quarter of 2018.

According to tech experts, developing a mobile version of Zelda is a good move for Nintendo. Judging from the sales and review scores of fully-fledge RPG Legend of Zelda in Nintendo Switch, the game's popularity will definitely spill out in Zelda mobile game for those who can't afford the Switch.
As of now, it is not yet announced whether the Zelda mobile game will have free-to-play approach like Fire Emblem Heroes or players have to pay to unlock the rest of the game -- just like in Super Mario Run.
