The Tony Romo contract dilemma has yet to find a resolution this NFL offseason with the Dallas Cowboys keeping mum over the issue. While Dak Precott is the undisputed leader of the team, no other aspect has been settled so far. However, the quarterback crisis might be solved soon as the Tennessee Titans are said to be pitching for a potential reunion between DeMarco Murray and Tony Romo.
The move of DeMarco Murray from the Dallas Cowboys to the Philadelphia Eagles proved to be a difficult journey for the running back. However, his eventual trade to the Tennessee Titans revived his passion for football – the one thing that many of his fans saw die down while he was with the Nick Foles team in the previous season. Now, it looks like another Dallas Cowboys star is making his way to the Derrick Henry team.

At the moment, no official comment has been given by the parties tagged in this NFL rumor. However, many believe that a Tony Romo contract to the Tennessee Titans might be a good move for the quarterback. While Marcus Mariota is a promising leader for the Derrick Henry team, a veteran presence could be a great boost to their roster coming in the next NFL season. More importantly, the younger quarterback can learn a lot from the Dallas Cowboys star especially in terms of dealing with injuries and regaining his confidence back in the field.
“There are different things both on and off the field that I can learn from (the injury), and it’s given me an opportunity to realize how special the game really is, and how special my opportunity really is to play, and every time I step on the field to just enjoy it because you don’t really know when the last one could come up,” shared Marcus Mariota of his recovery.
