The Cleveland Cavaliers have no intention of giving back the championship trophy to the Golden State Warriors. As Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green dominate the Western Conference, LeBron James and Kyrie Irving look into adding more veteran stars in the roster. Although Deron Williams is a good indication of their future plans, the Kevin Love team seems to want another All-Star in their roster.
The Carmelo Anthony trade talks have been the center of NBA rumors since the season started. Among the teams reportedly looking into adding the All-Star to their lineup are the Boston Celtics, Houston Rockets and OKC. However, the Cleveland Cavaliers appear to be the clear favorites of Melo himself.
Rumors are rife that LeBron James is pushing for a Carmelo Anthony trade to fulfill his dream of playing alongside his closest buddies, namely, Dwyane Wade, Chris Paul and the New York Knicks star. Although no official comment has been given regarding this NBA trade rumor, fans are eager to see how King James and his friends would fare against the super team of the Golden State Warriors. Can they easily beat the teamup of Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green?
At the moment, the Carmelo Anthony trade talks appear to be on pause. As the season heads to the playoffs, the New York Knicks once again find themselves becoming spectators as the other basketball squads duel it out for the crown. Will this be the final season for Carmelo Anthony in the Kristaps Porzingis team?
"[N]obody likes to be in limbo. We all want to know kind of what's going on, especially when it's involving you. But that's not the way it is in sports," shared the All-Star when asked about the Carmelo Anthony trade rumors surrounding his name.
He added, "I don't think I'm the only one that's going through that or feeling that way. I think there's other players who feel the same way, that they want to be involved-not involved, but at least up to date with what's going on. I feel like I'm kind of up to date as far as when it comes to me what's going on."
What do you think? Will it be worth it for the Cleveland Cavaliers to pursue a Carmelo Anthony trade?
