The drama involving the Chris Bosh contract in the Miami Heat has been a confusing situation for everyone. While the rest of the Big 3 moved on from the Hassan Whiteside team, with Dwyane Wade going home to the Chicago Bulls and LeBron James reuniting with the Cleveland Cavaliers, the lone member left still has an uncertain future. However, all this could change next season as a Chris Bosh contract to the Minnesota Timberwolves could be in the works.
The Ricky Rubio team is undoubtedly one of the most promising groups in the NBA today. However, the players cannot seem to work well together to transform themselves into a contender in the Western Conference - a group that could give the Golden State Warriors and San Antonio Spurs a run for their money. Will a Chris Bosh contract help them achieve this goal?
Reports indicate that the Chris Bosh contract in the Miami Heat has long ended when the former Toronto Raptors star suffered blood clot-related injuries last season. Although the Hassan Whiteside team may be done with him, the former NBA All-Star is still not giving up his basketball career. Despite his health concerns, experts believe that Chris Bosh could still bring a lot to the table. Aside from his contribution in the hardwood court, he could be a valuable mentor to young groups in the league.
"My health is great. Feeling good. Still working out. Really still staying ready," shared Chris Bosh in his appearance in TNT's "Players Only" series.
He further shared of his challenges, "I think one of the interesting things that I didn't anticipate was my mental health. That's something that as athletes we have to take into regard because we're used to a set schedule and we're used to a certain type of world. And that's something that I've really had to work on for my well-being."
At the moment, no official confirmation has been given by the parties tagged in this NBA trade rumor. For now, the Miami Heat is reportedly adamant on their refusal to get Chris Bosh back in the Hassan Whiteside team. For the Minnesota Timberwolves, a number of deals are reportedly set to be in motion soon including a potential Ricky Rubio trade following the contract of Kris Dunn.
What do you think? Should the Minnesota Timberwolves sign a Chris Bosh contract? Will the Miami Heat star be a good mentor to Karl-Anthony Towns, Zach LaVine and Ricky Rubio?
