Gospel singer Israel Houghton and The Real host Adrienne Bailon and married on Friday in Paris - just three months after getting engaged in the romantic city.
The couple released a sneak peek of the celebration ahead of Tuesday's special on The Real, including the 33-year-old's stunning dress to the cake to their first dance and even their first kiss.
Their wedding was attended by 70 close friends and family members, including Bailon's The Real co-hosts Loni Love, Jeannie Mai and Tamera Mowry. Both Houghton and his wife shared photos of their special day on their personal social media accounts along with the hashtag #HappilyEverHouston.
This is a first marriage for Bailon and a second for Houghton, 44, who was married to first wife Meleasa for more than 20 years. In August he shared an Instagram picture of Bailon's hand in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, sporting a massive engagement ring.
"I have seen and felt the essence of God's grace through the life, the kindness and the courage of this woman. I've seen her attacked, lied about, wrongfully accused, mocked, laughed at, and misunderstood. But, I've also seen the shining example of the eagle she is that rises above the cacophony of the noise of ignorants- I'm learning from her example. She loves Jesus. She loves her family. She loves people. Even the ones that don't love her back. I pray God give me that same grace in my life. I've taken a giant leap of faith in asking her to share life with me forever and to give me a shot at getting it right this time... She has graciously granted my request... She said yes. Thanks Be To God. Thank you @adriennebailon for graciously loving me," Houghton captioned the photo.
The couple made their relationship official after appearing together on a vacation at Dreams Tulum Resort & Spa in Tulum, Mexico back in May. Throughout their highly-publicized relationship, Houghton denied he cheated on his wife with Bailon, although he did admit his infidelity led to the demise of his marriage. Houghton and Bailon first worked together on the 2013 flick produced by Houghton, "I'm in Love with a Church Girl."
The Lakewood Church worship leader (currently on indefinite leave) addressed his divorce in an open letter posted on Facebook not long before dating Bailon. "It is with a collective heavy heart that we announce that after over 20 years of marriage and a long separation, Meleasa and I are officially divorced," he wrote.
"Several years ago I failed and sinned in my marriage," he confessed. "Though this is new to many, it is not new to us as we have been working through this for over 5 years. Although we tried, the challenges in our relationship have proven too much to overcome."
Houghton insisted in a now-deleted post that he and his former spouse will "remain friendly and kind to each other' for the sake of their three children: Mariah, Israel Jr. and Milan Lillie. Although I am sincerely sorry, and forgiven, I soberly realize that I will live with the consequences of my failings for the rest of my life."
