After the successful launching of Pokémon Go last July, Nintendo is now preparing to release its new mobile game in many parts of the globe. The much-anticipated Super Mario Run is expected to become available on December 2016.
Nintendo introduced the autorunner mobile game during Apple's iPhone 7 launch event last September. At that time, the Japanese gaming company said the game will be launched in 100 countries. But just recently, the company said it will be released in more than 150 countries in December.
Considering that United States, India and Brazil are countries that have huge number of internet users, it is expected they are included in the first batch of Super Mario Run release. For Japan, it is Nintendo's home country, so obviously they will get the game also before the year ends.
However, there's a huge gap between the release of Super Mario Run on iOS and Android, according to Kotaku. iPhone and iPad users will be able to play the game on December, but Android users have to wait until summer next year to experience the upcoming Mario game. Rumors around the internet claim the game's Android release would be on April 2017.
For gameplay, there are three game modes on Super Mario run. First, it has the standard mode in which players try their best to finish various obstacles and levels. The second mode is the PvP mode, where players can compete with each other.
According to IGN, the game will also allow players to bring their Miitomo friend's list to have some fun friendly matches.
In an interview with GameSpot, Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto said the new Mario game has simple and easy to learn gameplay to make it appealing to everyone. In addition, he said players can enjoy the game with just one hand, giving them the freedom to play while riding on a bus or eating their favorite snack.
Nintendo executive Tatsumi Kimishima stated the game is a free download for both iOS and Android users. However, they have to shell out some penny to unlock all of its content. After paying a small amount of money, players can continue enjoying the game without additional charges.
