During the recent Nintendo Direct presentation, the Japanese gaming company revealed the upcoming games for 3DS handheld system. Gamers can expect there will be a new sports-themed Mario game, a puzzle game, and a RPG title.
Pikmin 4
Polygon reported the Pikmin franchise is coming to Nintendo 3DS next year. With a brief demo, Nintendo's Bill Trinen explained how players will help Olimar. Players will use the touch screen of the 3DS to control their Pikmin. The game's Red Pikmin are fire proof; Blue Pikmin are for the water; and the yellow Pikmin can be tossed to higher ground.
As of now, the full details about Pikmin on 3DS are not yet revealed. It is still unknown if it will be called Pikmin 4. But interestingly, the game will be Pikmin's first foray into the handheld market. And because of that change, the title's classic top-down gameplay will be replaced by a side-scrolling viewpoint.

3DS owners will also have Mario Sports Superstars on spring 2017. The game will feature an all-star Nintendo cast for a multisport showdown. Nintendo promised players that the game will have" full-fledged" takes on soccer, golf, tennis, baseball and horse racing.
All of the game's sports events will include single-player and online multiplayer modes, according to Digital Trends.

The Verge reported the game will released on to 3DS on Feb. 3, 2017. It will also come with a yarn Poochy amiibo which looks very cute.
Ever Oasis
For RPG fans, Ever Oasis will become available on 3DS sometime next year. In the game, players will control a hero named Tethu who explores dungeons, fights monsters and visits towns. In addition, players have to deal with a day-and-night cycle that switches up gameplay accordingly.
During Nintendo Direct, developers show a montage of Tethu's dungeon adventures.
Japanese studio Grezzo is now developing the Ever Oasis for 3DS system.
