Polygon shows some pictures of what is happening in the DLC, which includes a fiery sword, ice powers, and a light-filled boomerang. There is a report from Gamespot saying that there was a previous leak of the new Dark Souls 3 suggesting that the expansion would contain maps, bosses, enemies, not to mention the weapon and armor sets. There will also be an exclusive PvP (Player vs. Player) called Immortal Competition, but further details about what is going on are not well-known.
In fact, what is interesting about this DLC for Dark Souls 3 is that the trailer for it was posted on Twitter, but it has since been deleted, which means that it was probably published prematurely. So did this somehow get out, and does that mean that Dark Souls 3 is going to have its DLC come out later? We are going to have to wait on this, but we'll see when it finally gets released.

Director Hidetaka Miyazaki states that the gameplay of Dark Souls III follows Dark Souls II, with players using weapons like shortbows, firebombs, and dual-wielding swords to fight enemies. There are also going to be shields to protect the players from suffering damage. The difference between Dark Souls III and its predecessor is that the combat and movements are "faster and more fluid".
Dark Souls III was released on March 24, 2016, and it has been receiving a lot good reviews, such as 5 stars on the Express and IGN. The game has a notorious reputation for being incredibly difficult. In fact, the IGN game summary describes the world of Dark Souls III has fallen into some very perilous times as "players will travel across a wide variety of locations in an interconnected world of unrelenting challenge and deep RPG gameplay as they search for a way to survive the coming apocalypse".
Dark Souls 3 first set of DLC "Ashes of Ariandel" will be out on October 25th. For those who want to get in on the season pass, it is up for $24.99. The individual DLC is available for $12.
