Candace Cameron-Bure has revealed that the iconic '90s boy band "New Kids on the Block" will appear in the upcoming season of Netflix's "Fuller House" - and she could not be more excited.

The outspoken Christian actress, who plays DJ Tanner on the popular show, took to Instagram to share a photo of herself alongside co-stars Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie Tanner) and Andrea Barber (Kimmy Gibbler) wearing New Kids on the Block t-shirts.

"We've got 'The Right Stuff' to welcome some very special guest stars to @fullerhouse!!!" she captioned the photo.

According to TV Guide, the plot involves Stephanie ruining DJ's birthday, and making it up to her by tracking down her all time favorite band, which happens to be NKOTB.

"Here's hoping that Kimmy and Stephanie can prove they've got the 'right stuff' and convince the Kids to break out a few iconic dance moves for DJ," reads the report.

On Thursday afternoon, NKOTB member Jordan Knight also shared a snap of him and the band - including Danny wood, Joey McIntyre and Jonathan Knight - on Instagram with the caption, "Let's go!! #hangintougher on #fullerhouse !! #nkotb #netflix.

"Fuller House" made its season one debut on Netflix on Feb. 26 with 13 episodes that reunited most of the original "Full House" cast, including John Stamos, Dave Coulier, Bob Saget, and Lori Loughlin.

"Fuller house" is centered around Bure's character, DJ Tanner, who is a recently widowed mother of three boys. Her sister Stephanie offers to move in and help her raise her sons, and Kimmy, her best friend, also moves in with her teenage daughter Ramona. The second season of the 80's reboot is currently filming.

Bure, who won a Teen Choice Award for Favorite Actress in a Comedy, previously shared her excitement over how the family-friendly show is resonating with a younger audience - especially young girls.

"I love that we have a female-driven show with three female characters," she told PEOPLE. "And we all have different love lives, we all have different personalities in the way we go about doing life. So I think our show represents many different people out there. I think that you can watch it and you'll relate to at least one of the characters, so the diversity that way within the relationships is a good thing."

However, the show hasn't been without controversy: While it is family-oriented, there is a lot of reference to alcohol and crude humor, sparking backlash from the faith-based community. In addition, in season 1, Bure's character is caught in a love triangle, which has the actress kissing multiple men quite often.

However, the actress has addressed critics who've bashed her for not being their idea of "Christian enough."

"'I'm too religious, I'm not Godly enough, I'm too thin now, I'm not very humble, I've had too much plastic surgery, My brother Kirk is a better Christian than me, I'm too worldly, I'm too conservative, I'm not modest enough, I'm a show-off.' Those are just a few of the types of comments I get no matter what I share, what photo I post or what I say," she said in a blog posted in 2014.
