OnePlus has quite an interesting history as it really took the world by storm in a world full of smartphones. The OnePlus One was quite something in 2014, and then followed it up with the OnePlus 2 a year later. Now it has come to the OnePlus 3 for 2016, and this is the latest news about OnePlus 3 release dates in the United States for carriers such as Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon, AT&T, and US Cellular.
For those unfamiliar with the smartphone, it was started by a Chinese startup company thanks to a lot of word of mouth. It has similar specs to the company's OnePlus X, as the OnePlus 3 has a 5.5-inch screen, Snapdragon 820 processor, 16 Megapixel Rear Camera, 8 Megapixel front-facing camera, 3000 mAh battery, USB Type-C charging port, Fingerprint scanner, and Android 6.0.
A recent report on Know Your Mobile reveals that OnePlus has more software updates and performance improvements as of July 27. it is an improvement that has an NFC toggle button, and it will disable the fingerprint scanner if it detects that it is in a pocket or bag.
According to Gotta Be Mobile, the good news about the OnePlus 3 is that it was announced on June 14th with a virtual reality app from Google Play, and then it had a release date of...June 14th. Just try finding any product that will do that. Needless to say, if you want it, head on over to the OnePlus site and place your order, as it costs a low $399.
It apparently arrived in India, China, and other parts of the globe on June 15th, the day after it was announced and became available. However, demand for the smartphone was high, so expect some delays.
For those in the United States that are interested in receiving the smartphone, you might be in luck. Their website is selling it unlocked, and so are sites like Amazon. Keep in mind that this is an unlocked GSM phone, like the Moto X Pure Edition.
Chances are, you should be able to get the OnePlus 3 to work on AT&T, US Cellular, and T-Mobile. However, you probably won't be able to purchase a OnePlus 3 at one of their stores. All it takes is a good SIM card and you should be able to get it to work with a wide variety of carriers around the world. Keep in mind that if you are a Verizon Wireless or Sprint consumer, you won't be able to get the OnePlus 3 to work as they use incompatible CDMA technology.
So in short, the OnePlus 3 is available from many outlets throughout the world. Not only that, it has arrived in an option of Soft Gold, and it has some accessories including cases, all for just $399.
