It's hard to believe that we have been living in a world that has only had Pokémon GO for less than a month, and it has changed the world. Over the last weekend, there has been an update, and this has made it difficult for those that want to use Pokevision and other locators. Also, if you are one of the ones with a Windows 10 Mobile phone and want Pokémon GO, there is a beta available for that. Sadly, it is going to take a while if you want the Pokémon GO Plus accessory and its release date.
For those that do not have an iOS or Android phone, you should know that a third party developer is working on a version of Pokémon GO for Window 10 mobile. According to Phone Arena, there is a beta version available to be sideloaded onto a Windows 10 mobile phone right now. Check the link there to get more information on that, and you will need a Pokémon Trainer Club account, and since the demand is so high right now, the Windows 10 version should be available soon.
In other news, there have been some changes to the game. I happened to notice that Pokémon GO was updating itself, and according to Engadget, it nixes the battery saving feature. There is also the ability to customize your trainer again, as well as relocated buttons for transferring Pokémon. About the only thing that I noticed was a warning not to trespass on people's property when hunting Pokémon.
Oh, for those that have been using Pokevision and other various third-party Pokémon trackers have found them going offline. This appears to be intentional as a movement from Pokémon to strike out against these services. There is even a message on the Pokevision site saying: "Hey guys. We wish we had some news for you At this moment, we are respecting Niantic and Nintendo's wishes. Will keep you guys posted."
One of the things that was promised with the release of Pokémon GO would be the possibility of an accessory known as the Pokémon GO Plus. Sadly, Nintendo (who is doing pretty good since the mobile game's release date) announced as of last week that the accessory that looks like a Pokeball for the wrist will be delayed until September.
At first, Nintendo did not explain the reason for the delay, but Ubergizmo reports a statement by Nintendo to Polygon, saying: "The delay is due to the preparations for the Pokémon Go application update in order to optimize Pokémon Go Plus. In order for us to offer new experiences to play Pokémon Go with Pokémon Go Plus with a quality level high enough to satisfy as many people as possible, we decided that it is necessary to take enough time for the completion. We ask for your understanding."
