The last time was a few months ago with iOS 9.1, but now there is a way to jailbreak the latest version of iOS with 9.3.3. According to CNET, the new Apple iOS 9.3.3 upgrade can be jailbroken. This particular hack, also known as PPHelper, was developed by the famous Pangu Team. The tool currently supports only Windows computers and is compatible with 64-bit iOS devices. Also only a Chinese version of the tool is available with instructions in Chinese, but there should be an English edition that will pop up.

PPHelper is not a tethered or untethered jailbreak, but somewhere in the middle or "semi-tethered". For those not in the jailbreak know, tethered means that the user must re-enable the jailbreak via your computer each time to boot up your mobile device, while untethered means that the jailbreak doesn't require your computer to re-enable it.
If you are really not in the jailbreaking know, here's what it is: a way to negate Apple's predetermined settings of the iPhone or iPad in order to gain more control over the iDevice. It is also a way for Apple users to enjoy access to their favorite brand of smartphones or tablet, particularly to the iOS files system and manager for downloading applications that are not available on the App Store.
