In December of 2013, Michael Schumacher suffered a terrible accident on the ski slopes when he hit his head on a rock. Since then, most of the fans want to hear about his condition, but the family has chosen to keep his health a secret. Unfortunately, this has given rise to theories that Schumacher's health has turned for the worse.
As most of his fans know, Schumacher was in an induced coma for about six months, and then was moved from the hospital to his home in Lake Geneva, Switzerland. The treatment at home began, and there was rumors about how Schumacher would tear up at the sign of his wife, but his manager, Sabine Kehm, has dismissed those rumors. Including a rumor that Schumacher could walk again.
According to Vine Report, Kehm was attending a charity launch event, and many asked her about the condition of the racing champion. Her response was expected as she said: "We all know that I cannot comment. We just have to accept that the family wants to continue to protect their privacy. Of course, Michael will not disappear but at the moment the private situation is so difficult that unfortunately no insight can be given. There must be understanding for this".
Most of our regular readers know that we have covered Michael Schumacher's condition several times, and Sabine Kehm is always a name that comes up, always in association with the media blackout for the family.
We have also reported on the selling of several properties by the Schumacher family and the private jet, which actually makes a lot of sense considering that Michael Schumacher is unable to use them. For example, a recent report from the Express reveals that a CTS car dealership in Berlin is offering £100,000 for the racing icon's gray 1998 Mercedes E55 AMG wagon. Also, the medical expenses have to be pretty high, with an estimated £115,000 a week for the care.
Still, even in the media blackout, every source seems to indicate that Schumacher's condition is one of slow recovery. There is some news on Parent Herald saying that the race car driver's immobility and slow recovery are leading him to "sobs in private" as an expression of his "frustration and anxiety". This could just be another one of the rumors, as Sabine Kehm is usually quick to quench any type of information like this, the type that shouldn't make it to the press.
Fans from all over the world continually wish Michael Schumacher well with tweets of #keepfightingmichael and the Michael Schumacher website reveals that there have been over one hundred thousand tweets with this particular hashtag.
