Fortune reports that every major network: NBC, ABC, FOX, CBS, and PBS, will be airing the convention live. This is the scheduled speakers planned for the week, with each broadcast beginning at 4 PM Eastern. Monday will be U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders, Senator Elizabeth Warren, and First Lady Michelle Obama. Tuesday will be Former President Bill Clinton, and Wednesday will be Vice President Joe Biden as well as President Barack Obama. Then, on Thursday, Hillary's daughter Chelsea Clinton will be speaking along with the party nominee Hillary Clinton.
Of course, the Convention is happening without Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz of Weston, chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee. Facebook is doing something similar as they have a deal with ABC. The stream is going to be free, and the coverage will be the same as ABCNews.go.com, or from ABC News mobile and Apple TV. Even Snapchat will be getting in on the action with stories from their site.
There was a lot of spontaneity with the Republican Convention, it is possible that the Democrats could have something. Most people don't think that Bernie Sanders will "pull a Ted Cruz", but he's been pretty pro-Clinton for the most part. Still, with last week's Melania Trump and everything else that happened, it might be worth checking out.
