Aziz Ansari certainly created quite a stir as the show he was known for, Parks and Recreation, ended, but another show, Master of None, began. On this show, Aziz Ansari was the star, and could play Dev, a character of Indian descent who is trying to make it into acting. It is clearly meant to be semi-biographical, and he will be back again. This is what is known about Master of None Season 2 Release Date, and what is in store for Aziz on the show.
A report from iDigitalTimes, Master of None has had four Emmy nominations like Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series, Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series, Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series, and the big one, Outstanding Comedy Series.
Aziz recently attended a panel for his For Your Consideration panel, held at the UCB Sunset Theater on Saturday, July 9, in Los Angeles. According to Just Jared, he was joined by co-stars Noel Wells, Kelvin, Yu, Eric Wareheim, as well as writer/executive producer Alan Yang and moderator Adam Scott.
So what will happen in Master of None Season 2? It will have to continue from where it left off. We last reported that Aziz was posting Instagram pictures from Italy, mostly of food. Most likely because Aziz is probably filming the next season in Italy, because at the end of Season 1, he was going to Italy. The reason why was to attend a pasta-making school after his relationship with Rachel ended with a sudden breakup.
When asked about Season 2, he told Variety "we're figuring it out; I need some time to refill my head". Perhaps this would be a good time to make some suggestions. It is very clear that Aziz has experience taking his comedy show on the road, and perhaps Master of None can focus on that part of Aziz's life.
After all, it seems that Aziz's show is essentially "art imitating life", and it looks like Aziz's life so far is him struggling to make it as an actor. Of course, Aziz is now a successful actor now, so perhaps the show can focus on that part of his life.
Perhaps Master of None can focus on Aziz become a regular actor on a show, and then discuss how his career bloomed on some show similar to Parks and Recreation. What is strange is that Dev's career could eventually catch up to the real Aziz Ansari. Then, Dev will have some very successful Netflix show that will have viewers who will want to know what will happen in the next season. Maybe that will be the time to end the show, but it is too early to talk about this show that will still be strong.
