Last year, there was a surprise from LG as they unveiled the V10. Sure, LG already had the G4 last year, and the LG G5 is...not quite doing so well, according to some report. The news is coming down the LG pipe that there will be a follow-up to the V10 with what could be the V11 or the V20. This is the news about the LG V11 or V20 release date and specs, and it is possible that it is competing with the iPhone 7and Samsung Galaxy 7.
According to Gotta Be Mobile, sources indicate that an all-new LG V11 is in the works and should be announced before the Galaxy Note 7 is revealed, which is planned for unveiling on August 2nd. This is a little earlier than the Note 5, which was announced on August 13, and began shipping on August 20.
Yes, the new Samsung phablet won't be the Galaxy Note 6, because apparently, Samsung's flagship phablet series is going to be skipping a number so it greatly resembles the iPhone 7. At least, this is what I think is going on, because honestly, every time I write about the successor to the Note 5, it is always talking about the Note 7 instead of the Note 6.
Assuming that there will be a follow-up to the LG V10, it might be called the LG V11 or the LG V20, while we are on the subject of names. Another assumption is that the LG V11 or V20 arrives earlier than August, this means that it will launch in early September.
Granted, that is going to be in competition with the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Android Authority states that the release of the LG V11 and V20 is preferred to launching in September, but that is preferable to launching in October. By the way, Phone Arena discusses how the LG V10 arrived on the market last October.
So, what kind of specs will the V11 or V20 have? Well, it is expected that it will have a huge Quad HD display, as well as a secondary screen. The V10 has a 5.7-inch screen and a smaller 2.1-inch one, so the LG V11 or V20 will have something larger, maybe? Perhaps these phablet screens are getting too big, so I will leave it up to LG to decide what direction they want to go. It will probably have a fingerprint sensor, and I will have to report on it later to talk about the cameras.
