In case you slept through last weekend, Pokémon GO was literally everywhere. The issue is that the mobile game for both Android and iOS has been nothing but popular as smartphone users everywhere are heading outside in order to "Gotta Catch 'Em All". This is everything that you want to know about Pokémon GO problems, cheats, issues, beginner tips, release dates for upgrades, and how to level up a lot quicker.
The Impact of Pokémon GO
An article from CNET states that the game has been a phenomenon, with players posting on social media catching up to twitter in daily active users, and Nintendo's stock jumping 60 percent. The game is already big in the United States, New Zealand, and Australia, and it will get bigger once it hits Europe and Asia sometime next week.
Problems with Pokémon GO
There have been some stories about Pokémon GO causing some interesting problems. You have probably heard of the woman finding the dead body while playing, and there are reports that armed robbers are targeting Pokémon GO players. Some people have been contributing to the distracted driving problems by playing Pokémon GO behind the wheel.
Since the demand of Pokémon GO has been huge, there have been some problems reported. I had a problem when I started creating my character, as it wouldn't go to the game. GPS issues are constant, and an article on Gamespot talks about how to solve problems like PokeCoins and premium items going missing, the "You already own this item" error message, distorted audio, and more.
According to Niantic, they discovered that "the Pokémon GO account creation process on iOS erroneously requests full access permission for the user's Google account", but if that bothers you, uninstall the app. However, a recent report from Engadget shows that Niantic isn't reading your emails and such.
Downloading Pokémon GO and Tips for Beginners
If you are new to the game, it is easy to download, and then offered me the chance to log in using Google or the Pokémon trainers club. I tried using the Pokémon trainers club and setting up an ID online, but there were apparently so many users that I couldn't get a membership.
From there, I was able to find three Pokémon in my house alone that I could flick a Pokeball at and collect. There is an article saying that Gizmodo says that Pokémon GO just make Augmented Reality Mainstream, and it will certainly make as fun as I always suspected it would be. That was good enough to go to Level 2, and at that point the Pokémon were more within a short walking distance from my house.
For those that want to get some advice on how to Level up quicker for Pokémon GO, there is an article on Gotta Be Mobile about how busy people can play the game faster.
The Future of Pokémon GO and the Franchise Overall
If you want to get on this Pokémon fad, and want to branch out even more, then you should know that Pokémon Sun and Moon is coming on November 18, 2016.
