The 51st annual Academy of Country Music Awards is coming to CBS this weekend- hosted by Luke Bryan and Dierks Bentley at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Blake Shelton, Little Big Town, Old Dominion and Charles Kelley are some of the artists lined up to perform that night at the show.
CBS.com has a special feature on their site called ACM Sessions, where you can "get VIP access to some of your favorite country artists" in "an online concert series presented by The Academy of Country Music and CBS Interactive." Each session has a live performance from country artists, and there will even be exclusive interviews which reveal the stories behind the songs.
The first ACM session up is by the country music group, Old Dominion. They have received two ACM Award nominations for new vocal duo/group of the year and vocal group of the year. They have their first #1 single, "Break Up With Him. They talk about their beginning when they moved to Nashville and had to work a bunch of different jobs, including at Best Buy and washing dishes before they made it big and signed a record deal at the airport. No matter what happens on Sunday, they will already be winners. They have already been announced as winners of the newcomer award.
Two other sessions remain to be announced on the ACM Sessions page. Check back there for new ones!
