After a romantic beach vacation in Africa's Republic of Seychelles that led to a marriage engagement, pop vocalist Ciara and Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson celebrated publicly in the United States on Saturday when the 30-year-old R&B singer took the 27-year-old NFL star with her to Las Vegas at which she performed at the Cosmopolitan Hotel's Marquee Dayclub season opening. Many fans are following the activities of this openly abstinent-'til-marriage couple since they announced their engagement March 11.
The duo first stopped at Tao in the Venetian. Robin Leach of "Lifestyles of the Rich & Famous" reported in the Las Vegas Sun that Ciara "showed off her flawless, 16-carat diamond engagement ring before moving over to sister hotspot Marquee in the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas for her performance there."

Prior to the vacation, as reported in The Gospel Herald, Ciara called Wilson "heaven sent."
"God Is Good!" she wrote. "Grateful For You @DangRussWilson. You are Heaven Sent. I'm Looking Forward To Spending Forever With You."
Wilson has shared online about Ciara: "Every Morning, Every Night ... I Thank God for you."
The couple, who have been dating since April 2015, made headlines last year after Wilson revealed during an interview with San Diego's Rock Church the two were abstaining from sexual activity because they want to honor God with their relationship.
Many other fans agreed with Don Tillotson when he posted online to Ciara: "I am happy for you. Sometimes it takes people to get use to what they haven't had. I hope and pray that y'all marriage stands the test of times."
