Anna Duggar, former "19 Kids and Counting" star and wife of Josh Duggar, recently opened up about the challenges she's faced since learning of her husband's infidelity and pornography addiction.
I don't know what I'm stepping into," says Anna, 27, in a promo for the upcoming TLC show, Counting On.
"I don't know how to handle each situation," Anna adds. "It's not anything I ever would have thought I would walk through. [I tell myself,] 'Just do the next right thing, have the next right response for the next 15 minutes.'"
Anna has rarely appeared in public since last summer, when Josh admitted to cheating and a pornography addiction amid reports he had active accounts on Ashley Madison, a website created to facilitate adulterous affairs.
Just a few months earlier, it was revealed that Josh had molested five girls, including sisters Jill Dillard and Jessa Seewald, back in 2002, when he was 14 years old. The family's hit show was subsequently cancelled, and the eldest Duggar resigned from his position at the conservative lobbying group Family Research Council in light of the revelations.
The disgraced reality star, who has four children with Anna, is currently receiving treatment at a faith-based rehab center.
In her December interview in Jill & Jessa: Counting On, Anna revealed that while her husband caused her indescribable pain, she will continue to stand by him.
"In my heart, when I got married, I vowed to God first and then to Joshua, 'For better or for worse. 'Til death do we part," she said. "I pray that through all of this that I would be an extension of God's love to Joshua, that I would love him and forgive him and wait patiently and allow God to work through our hearts."
She added, "I pray through all this that I would be an extension of God's love to Joshua and that I would love him and forgive him and that I would wait patiently and allow God to work in our hearts. My prayer and my heart's desire is for our marriage to be restored."
In a statement on the Duggar family's blog, Anna also expressed hope that God will use her husband's indiscretions to strengthen their marriage: "I trust that God will continue to show His love and tenderness toward us and bring beauty from ashes-somehow-as only He can do," she continued. "Please continue to pray for me, Josh and our children."
The Counting On promo also features the younger members of the Duggar family building a treehouse, as well as sisters Jinger, 22, and Joy-Anna, 18, squirming away from questions about who will be the next one to enter in a courtship.
Counting On premieres March 15 (9 p.m. ET) on TLC.
