Netflix has officially renewed the show for a second season, which was announced March 2nd, less than a week after the nostalgic show rolled out on Netflix. Many fans binged watched the thirteen episodes in a few days- even as little as the same day.
The Fuller House Twitter account tweeted on March 2nd, "Your list will get even fuller."

Season 2. Coming soon to @Netflix. #FullerHouse ❤️https://t.co/aEdTwbLDLM
The teaser has DJ, Stephanie, Kimmy Gibbler and all the kids and their dog, Cosmos, on the familiar living room couch, which is very treasured by Danny Tanner in the comeback of the show. The pictures behind them show the rest of the family. What this person wonders is why there aren't pictures of DJ's husband who died with the kids. Do they just forget about him now that he's dead?
Netflix doesn't share ratings data, and many critics panned the 1st season revamp, but it must have done well with fans for them to bring DJ Tanner-Fuller back for another season. Fuller House sort of left fans hanging as far as a relationship with her old beau, Steve Hale(Scott Weinger), and her veterinarian partner, Matt Harmon(John Brotherton). Will the two guys continue to try to win her heart in the new season?
John Stamos told People that he wanted to develop the kids more on the show if they got a 2nd season. He would, "Have them carry a little more story, a little more emotional stuff."
Bob Saget and Dave Coulier appeared on ABC's The View to talk about the show. Funny thing is that Candace Cameron Bure, one of The View's hosts was absent. They didn't spend much time talking about the show- more about Alanix Morissette, Bob Saget's indie film that he's in, and the tv family's time hanging out last night.
John Stamos was also on ABC on Live With Kelly and Michael, where he showed the world his deformed belly button. He also talked to Matt Lauer on The Today Show, where he talked more about the show- saying that it was "comfort food." He told Matt, "People love [this show] so much; it means so much to them. I'm lucky that I can make them happy with that!"
He was also asked about the Olsen twins, and getting them back for the 2nd season. He would like to see them back. "They're totally welcome," he said. "I was going to see Ashley last night and beg her to be on the show. I have a good feeling about it."
So, who is ready for the next season? Is there another "comfort food" show that you would like to see brought back? Leave your thoughts below!
