The "Games with Gold" for the Xbox for the month of February have been revealed.
According to the official Xbox website, the free games with gold for this month include "Zheros," "Hand of Fate," "Styx: Master of Shadows," "Sacred Citadel," and "Gears of Wars 2."
Developed and published by Rimlight Studios "Zheros" allows players to step into the shoes of strong, brave, and dim-witted Mike and the fast, smart, and highly prepared Captain Dorian, who are intergalactic agents summoned to protect the universe from evil forces. Along with them, the players' task is to defend the universe from the evil Dr. Vendertta and his plot to mutate every living thing into his minions.
A game of life and death is the premise of "Hand of Fate." Developed by published by Defiant Development, the game is set beyond the 13 gates at the end of the world. The player draws his cards and plays his hand to unfold his fate. It is a hybrid of a rogue, action-RPG, and deck building game, in which players build a deck from a pool of cards and use them to deal with the dungeon floors in the game. As they progress in the game, the players' card pool expands, allowing them to create more powerful decks to use in the game.
Set in a dark fantasy realm, "Styx: Master of Shadows" is an infiltration game infused with elements of RPG. The player's task is to guide the goblin assassin Styx through the multistage Akenash Tower back to the World Tree, which is the source of the Amber, a potent and enchanted golden sap. The Amber is set to be "prowling" through the shadows with a host of special skills set throughout Styx's rich origins. The game is developed by Cyanide Studio and published by Focus Home Interactive.
"Sacred Citadel" centers on the once serene land of Ancaria, which is now in a state of danger. It is revealed that the evil forces of the Ashen Empire has dragged its population and is utilizing the orc-like Grimmoc to exterminate the Seraphim, creatures who vowed to protect the land. Players have to prove themselves worthy of becoming warriors by doing tasks, such as getting powerful weapons and learning high-impact skills, in addition to obtaining some treasures.

"Games with Gold" serves as a subscription service that provides gamers access to various features on Xbox 360 and Xbox One, which includes the ability to play online and get up to a number of free games per month. The service price is $89 per year in Australia; however, the prices is set to change depending on one's territory.
