Along with its features, price, and release date, the new HTC One M10 image has reportedly leaked, leading to rumors of a 5.1-inch screen.
As indicated by PC Advisor United Kingdom, it is noted that the HTC logo in front of the device disappeared. Also, the device gets a home button, which is believed to also function as a fingerprint scanner.
A speaker grille can also be seen in the leaked photo, which supports speculations that HTC is moving on from the BoomSound. According to Tech Times, the BoomSound is viewed as one of the strongest selling points of the handset; thus, it is assumed that a number of people would turn their back away to the new handset once it hits the market.
Regarding overall design, the M10's appearance in the photo is close to the One A9's.
According to Venture Beat, the HTC M10 is set to run Android's latest 6.0.1 OS (Marshmallow) and feature a possibly AMOLED 5.1-inch 2560 by 1440 display. It is believed that One M9's 5-in 1920 by 1080 display was prodigious; however, it did not shift away from the One M8's display, leaving some users dissatisfied.
The device is also going to have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and Adreno 530 graphics. Its camera is set o be at 12-UltraPixel, with laser-assisted autofocus with OIS.
Aside from its 4GB of RAM, the HTC M10 is also set to have 32GB internal storage, microSD slot, as well as the rumored 64GB and 128GB, similar to Apple's iPhone variants.
Concerning the price of the HTC M10, it is assumed that the upcoming handset is not going to deviate from One M8's 550 pounds and One M9's 579 pounds, according to PC Advisor United Kingdom. As per Tech Times, HTC M10 is going to land at $530.
The HTC M10 is set to be released following the Mobile World Congress in February this year, according to Tech Times. On the other hand, PC Advisor reported that the handset would be out in the market in April this year, instead of March, due to the limited supplies of the Snapdragon 820 processor.
Previously, reports said that the M10 will not be launched at the Mobile World Congress in March, as HTC is set to hold its own launch event in March after the show. It is assumed that the handset is going to be released in the first to second quarter of the year, since it is noted that the One M8 and One M9 were launched in early 2014 and 2015, respectively.
While the said photo seems to display what fans can expect from the upcoming HTC M10, the company is yet to reveal if the details are official.
The HTC M10 stands as the successor to the One M9 and the One M8, which was released in 2015, and the original HTC One, which was launched in 2013.
