Zack Snyder's DC Comic film "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is set to come to the big screen soon and in line with this, a new edited trailer showed actor Shia LaBeouf, and professional wrestlers Randy Orton and John Cena.
The clip was released by Vidgeo, which featured Orton in black suit, followed by LaBeouf getting off the car before meeting Henry Cavill's Clark Kent. The next sequence featured Orton in his wrestling attire and he is in combat with guys in black. In the newspaper headline, it was revealed "Randy Orton Strikes Again."
More interesting scenes followed and featured Orton's superhuman abilities, such as wrestling a flying, large airplane, being immune to gun bullets.
Then, a scene replicating the dark Superman sequence from previous trailers featured Orton as he went down a hideout, with some guards kneeling down. Another sequence spoofed Orton as the Man of Steel walking inside the court.
The next sequence saw LaBeouf looking at Batman's suit, which is followed by Ben Affleck's Dark Knight looking at Orton. Superman and Orton also had a fight and so did Batman and the latter.
Cena entered the scene, replacing Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman and he joined Superman, and Batman, ready to fight Orton or Doomsday. The clip ended with the title "Orton v Batman v Superman: Dawn of the RKO."
Overall, the inclusion of Cena, Orton, and LaBeouf in the "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" trailer is viewed to be epic.
In line with the upcoming film, rumors have surfaced on the role set to be played by "Argo" actor Scoot McNairy.
According to Latino Review, McNairy is rumored to play Jimmy Olsen from the Superman comics. As per the publication, the character was injured when Superman took on Zod at the conclusion of Snyder's "Man of Steel."
Sources also told the publication that McNairy's character, who is in a wheelchair is going to be a witness against the Man of Steel when the latter was called to the United States Senate. The character is also set to be Lex Luthor's victim, with Luthor turning him into a human bomb to lure Superman and hurt him.
With the human bomb ideas surfacing online, McNairy could not be playing Olsen, as it would be a waste for a "fan-favorite" character. For the time being, only Snyder or the film producers have yet to confirm if the rumor is true.
"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" serves as the foundation that will lead to the rise of the superhero team Justice League. Aside from Cavill and Affleck, the film also stars Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, Jesse Eisenberg, Amy Lane, and McNairy, among others.
Snyder's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is set to premiere in theaters in the United States on Mar. 25.
