"Warcraft" actor Clancy Brown has voiced his thoughts on how better the "Warcraft" orcs are than the ones in "Lord of the Rings."

Brown plays the role of horde war chief Blackhand in Duncan Jones' upcoming action fantasy film "Warcraft." In his interview with IGN, the actor said that the "Warcraft" orcs were similar to the "Lord of the Rings" orcs, except tougher, better looking, smarter, and in every way better than the "Lord of the Rings."

It is agreed that the "Warcraft" orcs appear to be smarter, according to Cinema Blend. As evidenced by the previous trailer it is seen that although some orcs may be labelled as bloodthirsty creatures similar to those in "Lord of the Rings," some of them pursue peaceful answers to their crisis, since that leads to the betterment of their race.

The "Warcraft" orcs are also better designed as characters, as compared to other orcs fans have seen, thus, qualifying them as "better looking." It is believed that how they were designed is linked to what their functions were in their community. While Brown said that the orcs from "Warcraft" were tougher, it can only be judged when the film hits the big screen.

Aside from Brown, the film stars Daniel Wu, Ruth Negga, Ryan Robbins, Ben Schnetzer, Toby Kebbell, Dominic Cooper, Ben Foster, Robert Kazinsky, Paula Patton, and Travis Fimmel, among others.

Along with Jones at the helm of the film, "In the Heart of the Sea" write Charles Leavit is on board to help create the film screenplay based on the story by Chris Metzen. Michael Morhaime, Brent O'Connor, Paul Sams, and Jillian Share are the film executive producers, among others.

In line with "Warcraft's" future, Jones has voiced his desire to do more sequels following his upcoming film. In his interview with 2p, Jones said that hopefully, if he had done his job right, people would want to know and see more.

Jones also said that there was certainly plenty more to tell and he would have loved to be part of that process of expanding on the lore that made up "Warcraft." But for the director, that would all depend on what the people thought of their first film.

"Warcraft" is based on the hit video game of the same name. Developed by Blizzard, the "Warcraft" game has grown into popularity over its 20-year existence. Also, it has become a staple game for many gamers across the world. In fact, the game got a rating of 93 percent based on 57 critic viewers, plus a user rating of 7.2 out of 10 based on 2,012 user ratings.

Jones' "Warcraft" is set to premiere in theaters in the United States on June 10.
