Days before 14th, there were be new releases perfect for that movie date. Not all of these are romantic titles, but they make for a fun and memorable date nonetheless.

Who says you cannot watch a horror film on the most romantic day of the year?  If you are your partner are up to it, then catch Eli Roth's "Cabin Fever." It's not really straight horror but a comedy horror film. "Cabin Fever" 2016 is a reboot of the 2002's horror film of the same title, about a couple of kids who contracted a flesh-eating disease.

It recently released its first look trailer. Those who got the chance to view it can certainly feel that it is much more dramatic compared to the 2002 version. This is Eli Roth's directorial debut and everyone anticipates that he can do a smashing job out of it. With his own experience of developing a skin infection during an Iceland trip, Roth is the perfect director for this. Horror and comedy in one? This is going to be a treat for you and your partner.

If you are perfectly happy with your partner, then it seems absurd that you will want to watch a movie about how to be single. But Warner Bros. Pictures' "How to be Single" just might be the movie you should watch on your Valentine's date to rekindle those days when you were doing everything you can to catch each other's eyes. Reminisce the days when you thought you are perfectly fine being alone until you found the one sitting right behind you.

It may not be a movie about "a girl meets boy and happiness follows" as director Christina Ditter once said, but it is still going to offer you a lot of good laughs looking back to those days when it was you learning how to be single in a world filled with ever-changing definitions of love. The movie is released on Feb 12, starring Dakota Johnson ("Fifty Shades of Grey"), Rebel Wilson ("Pitch Perfect"), Alison Brie ("Get Hard") and Leslie Mann ("Knocked Up").

Deadpool

If you cannot stand horror, comedy, or romantic flicks, then you have the option of going for action - some superhero action that is. The movie revolves around Marvel Comic's most unconventional anti-hero, Deadpool. It tells the story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who achieved some advanced healing powers because of a failed experiment.  With his powers, he hunts down the person who nearly broke him, while doing ordinary, save-the-world activities on the side. Interestingly, a new "Deadpool" banner with a  romantic angle between the main characters was released by 20th Century Fox, appealing to those who wants a romantic movie to catch on Valentine's Day and did not thought of "Deadpool" could be it.
