The fate of the symphony and Rodrigo's relationship with Hailey are the key events in "Mozart in the Jungle" season 2. Also, speculations arise about a possible season 3, after the series' achievement at the Golden Globes.

"I owe you one," were the words uttered by Rodrigo to the players prior to the start of the concert in "Mozart in the Jungle" Season 2, according to WQXR. He also said that he found himself at home, saying "This is my home. This is our home." It was also revealed that he had regained his sense of hearing, which was followed by a rock-climbing tumble.

"Mozart in the Jungle 2" also saw Thomas reassure Gloria regarding the symphony's future. He told the latter that it had been there a long time after they were gone. Also, complex deals on the symphony board followed the lockout; however, Gloria and the players managed to be triumphant over the conservative team that wanted Rodrigo to leave and have Thomas as new music director.

Rodrigo went to Hailey's apartment and when he got there, he learned that the latter had prepared her bags for a skiing vacation with Erik, a young board member. He became ecstatic and rode his bike away, with the sound of Mozart's C major Oboe concerto.

According to Pop Insomniacs, "Mozart in the Jungle" season 2 goes broader as it expands the storylines of other members of the orchestra. The publication added that its combined elements of fun and drama make it highly recommended for viewers.

Amazon has not revealed whether "Mozart in the Jungle" is set to have a third season, but rumors say that seeing one is not far from happening, as per Fansided. According to the publication, it is not too easy for Amazon to halt the series, as it got some award nominations at the Golden Globes, specifically a nomination for a Golden Globe for Outstanding Comedy Series.

For the time being, exact details on the season 3 characters, cast, and release date are yet to be revealed.

Produced by Picrow for Amazon Studios, "Mozart in the Jungle" was inspired by "Mozart in the Jungle: Sex, Drugs, and Classical Music," the 2005 memoir of oboist Blair Tindall's professional career in New York. Tindall played various high-profile performances with ensembles, such as the New York Philharmonic and the orchestras of various Broadway shows.

"Mozart in the Jungle" stars Bernadette Peters, Peter Vack, Hannah Dunne, Saffron Burrows, Malcolm McDowell, Lola Kirke, Gael Garcia Bernal as Rodrigo, among others.

Directed by Paul Weitz, "Mozart in the Jungle" was written by Alex Timbers, Jason Schwartzman, and Roman Coppola. Season 1 debuted on Dec. 23, 2014, while season 2 followed on Dec. 30, 2015.

"Mozart in the Jungle" Season 3 is rumored to land on television in late 2016 to early 2017; however, the former period is more probable to happen.
